Skyline Group of Companies proudly took home the Community Service award at the Investment Property Owners Association of Nova Scotia (IPOANS) 2022 Innovation and Excellence Awards.
Held annually to showcase achievement among residential housing providers in Nova Scotia throughout the previous year, the awards were hosted at The Westin Nova Scotian in Halifax, NS.
Skyline currently has six properties in Nova Scotia, owned by Skyline Apartment REIT and managed by Skyline Living. The properties are located in Bedford, Dartmouth, and Halifax.
IPOANS’ Community Service award commemorates above-and-beyond achievement in community service over the previous year, awarding companies that go the extra mile in helping their surrounding communities.
Skyline was presented with this award for 2022 in honour of its community initiatives in Nova Scotia. These include the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser, where the Nova Scotia team, led by past IPOANS award winner Ashley Morine, raised $2,060 (with another $2,060 matched by Skyline) to support a non-profit organization in Dartmouth. It also included Skyline’s 2021 Spring Hope Food Drive, where Skyline’s two Dartmouth locations raised the most donations out of all Skyline properties.

In addition, Skyline Living employee Kevin Crowell was a finalist for the IPOANS Maintenance Technician of the Year Award.
