On June 16, 2022, Skyline Group of Companies was awarded the 2022 Community Builder award at the 195th annual Guelph Awards of Excellence hosted by the Guelph Chamber of Commerce.
The award recognizes an outstanding business or organization that has a positive impact on the business, community, and social well-being within the city of Guelph.
Skyline was recognized for its investment in a 32-unit permanent supportive housing project in partnership with Kindle Communities and Guelph Community Health Centre (Guelph CHC), among its other community initiatives in Guelph.
This supportive housing project, which was launched in October 2020, will provide 32 living spaces and 24/7 on-site support services to community members in need. Skyline Apartment REIT has donated land for the project, which will be developed in the Onward Willow neighbourhood of Guelph. SkyDev will be providing construction oversight for the project.
