[Guelph, ON – March 7, 2021]

On Sunday, March 7, 2021, Skyline Living’s industry-leading tenant assistance program was recognized in national media, including the Toronto Star and Yahoo! News, with an article by housing reporter Victoria Gibson.

The article features commentary from R. Jason Ashdown, Co-Founder & Chief Sustainability Officer, Skyline Group of Companies.

Read the article: “It’s not about the bottom line, all of the time.”

Skyline Living first launched its Tenant Relief Fund in 2018 in an effort to provide support to tenants that fall upon hard times, often through no fault of their own. The success of the program led to it being rebranded as Reach, Impact, Support, Elevate (R.I.S.E.) in August 2020.

The program has been previously recognized on a national level. In June 2020, Skyline Living won the Rental Housing Provider of the Year award from the CFAA for its efforts surrounding the program.

The program was also featured in Canadian Apartment magazine’s July-August 2020 issue.

We are proud that Skyline Living is being recognized for its focus on working with tenants to keep them in their homes.
