On June 29, 2023, Skyliners across Canada came together to walk in support of heart disease and stroke awareness, in recognition of Stroke Awareness Month. Skyliners sported their bright Skyline t-shirts and came together for an important cause.
June is Stroke Awareness Month in Canada, a campaign created by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada to raise awareness about the importance of fighting heart disease and stroke. Stroke is the leading cause of adult disability in Canada and the third-leading cause of death.
Social sustainability is a major component of Skyline’s overall sustainability goals and we are proud to participate in Stroke Month, among other social and community initiatives.
