Skyline Industrial REIT, a Guelph, Ontario-based Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) focused on acquiring, managing, and developing modern warehouse and logistics facilities across Canada, is pleased to announce the acquisition of a major warehousing and logistics asset in Alberta.

On December 21, 2023, Skyline Industrial REIT purchased a multi-tenant industrial logistics and warehousing facility located at 1 High Plains Trail in Rocky View County (Balzac), Alberta.

Completed in 2023, the building totals 414,459 square feet and is 100% leased to two high-value tenants, on long-term leases.

Skyline Industrial REIT first entered Rocky View County in October 2021 with the purchase of a new-build 150,000 square foot industrial warehouse.
Post-acquisition, Skyline Industrial REIT comprises 50 properties in five provinces across Canada, with a total of 9,610,563 square feet of industrial space.
