Fort McMurray residents displaced by the tragic fire are being offered two free months’ rent at 60 units in Skyline Living apartment buildings.
April is Daffodil Month for the Canadian Cancer Society, and Skyline was proud to join the fight against cancer and raise over $1,000 by purchasing daffodil pins. On Friday, April 22nd, Skyline staff joined the fight against cancer and "painted the town yellow" in their brightest clothes.
On Friday April 22nd, Skyline's offices and communities celebrated Earth Day by taking to the streets to pick up garbage and beautify their neighbourhoods. We are proud to participate in Earth Day among many of our other environmental and community initiatives.
On Friday, March 15th, 2016, Skyline shut down its Head Office in Guelph an hour early to head to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph's annual Bowl for Kids Sake Corporate Kick-off event.
On Sunday, March 6th, 2016, Skyline held its 7th annual Guelph Storm Event for kids of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph, in the party suite of the Sleeman Centre. Over 75 "bigs" and "littles" from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph attended a free Guelph Storm game in the party suite, with pizza, pop, a visit from Guelph Storm mascot Spyke, and face painting by Cleo the Clown.
On Wednesday, February 24th 2016, Skyline staff across Canada (totaling over 600) once again donned rosy hues for Pink Shirt Day, a national anti-bullying initiative founded in Canada. We're proud to stand up against bullying!
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph's 21st annual Have a Heart for Kids' Sake Gala was another wonderful success, with Skyline as the proud Presenting Sponsor of the event.
It was an early morning for Skyline's executive management team as they headed to Gateway Public School in Guelph, ON to volunteer for a student nutrition program. The volunteers cooked and served hot meals to over 30 children. Skyline sponsors nine of these nutrition programs throughout the Guelph/Wellington area.
For the second year in a row, Skyline volunteers spent their work day packing boxes of toys, books and toiletries for kids overseas.

Throughout the month of November 2015, Skyline staff volunteered their time at various initiatives leading up to Giving Tuesday (December 1st, 2015). Giving Tuesday is an annual day, celebrated globally, to mark the beginning of the “giving back” season. It’s a time where charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for their favourite causes.
