The new Skyline Retail REIT has recently made its first two acquisitions since the portfolio launched in late 2013.

On Thursday, February 6th the Skyline Retail REIT acquired 51, 55 & 57 King William Street in Huntsville, ON. The property had a $6.9 million purchase price and boasts almost 16,000 square feet of commercial space. This property is the Retail REIT’s second in Huntsville.

On Monday, February 10th, the REIT acquired 808-828 Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg, ON. The property had a $2.6 million purchase price and over 17,000 square feet of commercial space. Wallaceburg is a new community for the Retail REIT, which is now in a total of 14 Ontario communities.

Skyline Retail REIT now comprises 21 properties in 14 Ontario communities, with over 478,000 square feet of commercial space.
