Skyline Retail REIT Acquires New Hanover and Timmins Properties; Enters New Community of Coniston!
On Monday, August 18, 2014, the Skyline Retail REIT acquired a plaza at 893-895 10th Street in Hanover, Ontario - the REIT's second property in Hanover. The plaza had a purchase price of $9.5 million, and has over 25,000 square feet of commercial space, with the LCBO and Shoppers Drug Mart as tenants.
Skyline Retail REIT Acquires Five Properties; Enters Three New Communities!
These properties added a variety of new national brand name tenants to the REIT, including Dairy Queen, Harveys and Starbucks. The REIT also entered three new communities: Port Elgin, St. Mary's, and Alliston.

Skyline Commercial REIT Acquires Six New Properties; Enters City of Montreal, Québec!
On July 7th, 2014, Skyline Industrial REIT successfully acquired six properties in the city of Montreal, Quebec and the surrounding area. The properties are Skyline Industrial REIT's first outside of Ontario. These properties bring a total of 562,045 square feet of commercial space to the portfolio, and have a combined value of over $36 million.

On Monday, June 16th, 2014, Skyline Apartment REIT purchased an 8-property portfolio consisting of residential buildings in the cities of Niagara Falls, Ontario and St. Catharines, Ontario. The Skyline Apartment REIT already has several buildings in both cities. The total purchase price for the portfolio was $101 million.
