The property at 5118 Highway 69 North is the second property Skyline Retail REIT owns in Sudbury, and has McDonald's and Shoppers Drug Mart as anchor tenants. The property was purchased for $8 million.
On Thursday, August 25, the Skyline Apartment REIT acquired a 118-unit apartment community at 104 Confederation Drive in St. Thomas, ON. This property is the Apartment REIT’s second purchase in the city of St. Thomas, and was purchased for $11.8M. Skyline is now one of the city’s biggest landlords, operating approximately 14% of the apartments in St. Thomas.
On Monday, August 15th, the Skyline Apartment REIT acquired a 232-unit luxury apartment building in Red Deer, AB. The "Vanier Woods" property at 39 Van Slyke Way was purchased for $41.8M, and is located in the southeast Vanier Woods neighbourhood of Red Deer.

The Skyline Apartment REIT, a privately-owned and managed portfolio of multi-residential properties across Canada, purchased five Sarnia apartment properties on Wednesday, July 6th, totaling 346 apartment suites. The REIT’s purchase doubled its number of existing apartment units in Sarnia, bringing the total count to 668.

The "Skyline Cyclepaths" raised nearly $3,000 for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, helping to provide AED defibrillators and training to save lives throughout the Wellington-Dufferin area.
On June 2nd, 2016, the Skyline Retail REIT acquired a multi-tenant retail plaza property at 515-653 Grand Avenue West in Chatham, ON. Purchased for $25M, the plaza consists of 177,366 square feet of retail space, and includes Canadian Tire, Scotiabank and SportChek as anchor tenants.
