On Monday, July 20th, 2015, Skyline Industrial REIT purchased its eighth property in the city of Cambridge, ON. The property at 549 Conestoga Boulevard was purchased for $7.65M and comprises 96,495 square feet of commercial space.
On Thursday, January 15th, 2015, Skyline Industrial REIT acquired its first property in the City of Brantford, ON. The property at 97 Easton Road had a purchase price of $5.8 million, and has 102,995 square feet of commercial space.
On July 7th, 2014, Skyline Industrial REIT successfully acquired six properties in the city of Montreal, Quebec and the surrounding area. The properties are Skyline Industrial REIT's first outside of Ontario. These properties bring a total of 562,045 square feet of commercial space to the portfolio, and have a combined value of over $36 million.
On Monday, February 3rd, 2014, Skyline Industrial REIT completed the sale of 1356-1366 Clyde Avenue in Ottawa, ON. The property had approximately 19,386 square feet of retail space.
On Monday, December 23rd, Skyline Industrial REIT purchased a commercial portfolio in Cambridge, ON. The Fengate commercial portfolio consists of six properties with a total purchase price of $20.6 million, 62 individual tenants and almost 300,000 square feet of commercial space!
On Thursday, October 3rd, 2013, Skyline Industrial REIT purchased an industrial park portfolio in London, ON. While Skyline Apartment REIT currently owns seven multi-residential properties in London, this purchase was Skyline Industrial REIT’s first in the city.
On Monday, April 15th, 2013, Skyline Industrial REIT purchased the remaining properties included in the second phase of its $242 million commercial portfolio acquisition. The close of these properties marks the largest acquisition in Skyline's history, and brings Skyline Apartment REIT and Skyline Industrial REIT's combined holdings to over $1 billion.
Guelph, ON (Jan 23, 2013) - The second phase of Skyline Industrial REIT’s $242 million commercial purchase is already underway. On January 18th, the Commercial REIT purchased the following properties in the Ottawa, ON area:
January 11, 2013 – Skyline Industrial REIT made its first acquisition of 2013 on Wednesday, January 9th. The property, located at 425 Clair Road West in Guelph, had a $2.75 million purchase price, and is made up of 32,498 square feet of commercial space.
Guelph, ON (October 31, 2012) - Skyline Group of Companies set a company record this week by purchasing a $120 million commercial portfolio for Skyline Industrial REIT; just the first phase of a two-phased acquisition with a total price tag of approximately $242 million.
